Scope
These terms govern the services sold by CREATIVE TOURS (GREECE) ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε., Γ.Ε.ΜΗ. 195297801000, hereinafter “Creative Tours Greece”, to its trade clients (travel agencies and tour operators) and to individual travellers. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.
Our programmes are put together by Creative Tours Greece acting as an intermediary between the client on one side and carriers, hoteliers and other service providers on the other.
1. Liability of Creative Tours Greece
Creative Tours Greece holds liability insurance and each of our suppliers holds its own. It follows that we cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, irregularity, loss or theft of personal belongings or luggage. You are required to inform your clients before departure and to offer travel insurance including hospitalisation and repatriation.
Nor can Creative Tours Greece be held liable, and the client may therefore claim no compensation, for changes to the schedule or routing of a flight, ferry or domestic connection, even after vouchers have been issued, where such changes arise from events beyond our control, in particular where passenger safety is involved.
2. Booking procedure
Only bookings and amendments confirmed in writing will be accepted. No booking or amendment request made by telephone can be taken into account.
A booking is considered firm only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25 %.
3. Downgrade and upgrade
In the event of a downgrade for reasons beyond our control (events of national or international scale, strikes), we will refund the difference in rate between the hotel originally booked and the lower-category hotel. We will bear the full cost of any upgrade made for the same reasons.
4. Cancellation terms
Any cancellation must be confirmed by registered letter or by email.
Cancellation of the whole group
- more than 30 days before arrival: the 25 % deposit, non-refundable, is retained;
- from 30 to 8 days before arrival: 50 % of the trip price;
- less than 8 days before arrival: 75 % of the total trip amount;
- no-show: 100 % charge.
Partial cancellation
- free of charge for 10 % of the group size, up to 21 days before arrival;
- from 20 to 8 days before arrival, for 10 % of the group size: 10 % of the trip amount;
- from 7 to 1 day before arrival, for 10 % of the group size: 50 % of the trip price;
- no-show: 100 % charge.
The terms of certain hotels, cruises, ferries or domestic flights may be stricter; they are then stated in the quote and take precedence over the scale above.
5. Non-présentation
If a booked guest fails to arrive, the full agreed package rate is invoiced. Where a double room is converted into a single, invoicing will be based on the double room originally booked.
6. Hotel complaints
These must be raised as quickly as possible with the supplier and with the organiser. No complaint will be considered if the client has not reported the problem in writing on the spot, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel and the Greek Presidential Decree 7/2018 transposing it. No refund will be made without the supplier’s prior agreement.
Failing a solution on site, the complaint should be sent in writing to info@creativetours.gr within thirty days of return, with supporting documents.
7. Rooming list and payments
The group rooming list must be sent to Creative Tours Greece no later than 21 days before the group’s arrival. Payment for the services must be settled in full by bank transfer before the group arrives.
8. Payment schedule
- a deposit of 25 % of the total amount is due on receipt of the pro forma invoice, issued once the programme is finalised and confirmed; this deposit is non-refundable;
- 50 % of the total is due no later than 45 days before the group’s arrival;
- the balance of 25 % is due no later than 14 days before the group’s arrival.
9. Prices
Prices are quoted in euros, net of commission for trade partners. They cover the services expressly listed in the quote and no others. Unless stated otherwise, the following are excluded: international transport, city taxes collected locally, insurance, meals and visits not mentioned, gratuities and personal expenses.
Prices may be revised within the conditions and limits set by Presidential Decree 7/2018, in particular where fuel costs, taxes or exchange rates vary.
10. Amendment and cancellation by the agency
Should Creative Tours Greece be obliged to alter an essential element of the trip, it will inform the client without delay. The client may accept the change or terminate the contract free of charge and obtain a refund of the sums paid. In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination, termination is free of charge.
11. Personal data
Data processing is described in our privacy policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Failing an amicable settlement, the courts of Athens have jurisdiction, subject to the protective provisions applicable to consumers and to the European online dispute resolution platform.
Notes
- For all hotels: one free half-twin (one free place in a shared double) per 15 paying guests in winter, limited to two rooms, and one free half-twin per 25 paying guests in summer.
- Rates are quoted for a minimum of seven nights; below that, rates on request.
